What is the #BCTECH Summit?
The #BCTECH Summit is the largest technology conference in British Columbia. The main event showcases B.C.’s vibrant technology industry, builds cross-sector opportunities for businesses and explores the latest ideas and innovations fueling our economy locally and globally. The Summit connects industry, government and research under one roof to make connections and do business.
In 2017, the #BCTECH Summit was a fully sold out event with over 5,500 attendees from more than 1,200 organizations. View all the highlights from last year's conference.
When is the #BCTECH Summit?
The main event takes place Tuesday, May 15 and Wednesday, May 16, 2018.
Pre-event activities will happen May 14th. These events may require a separate registration. Please visit our Agenda to learn more, and check back for updates throughout the spring.

How can I register for the #BCTECH Summit?

What does my ticket include?
Your #BCTECH Summit ticket includes access to two full days of speakers, sessions, exhibits, networking receptions and Techfest, May 15 - 16, 2018. It also includes coffee and lunch on both days, and hors d’oeuvres during the networking reception. Other events that take place on Monday, May 14th may require a separate registration. #BCTECH on the Terrace, happening on the evening of Monday, May 14th, is free and open to the public!
Can I transfer my ticket to another person?
Please contact email@example.com to transfer your ticket to another individual, providing the full name, title, company and email address for the individual to whom you’d like to transfer your ticket. The deadline for transfers and name changes is May 4, 2018.
I can no longer attend the #BCTECH Summit. How can I get a refund?
Cancellations made by April 3, 2018 will receive a 50% refund of the value of the ticket. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after April 4, 2018. Name changes can be requested up to May 4, 2018.
Cancellation requests must identify the registrant's name and email address. Please send cancellation requests to firstname.lastname@example.org

Are there any special discounts for group ticket purchase?
There are no group discounts available. However, you can connect with our Community Partners to learn more about the available discounted rates.

Event Day Information
What type of food will be available?
There will be (limited) gluten-free and vegetarian options available for all provided meals.
Your registration includes meals on both days of the event: lunch, snacks, and canapés and one drink ticket for beer or wine during the networking reception.
Are there in-and-out privileges?
Once you pick up your name badge on-site, you will have in-and-out access over the two days.
Does the conference layout accommodate wheelchairs and those with special needs?
The Vancouver Convention Centre is very accessible. We’ve made sure the entire conference space can accommodate a variety of accessibility needs. If you have any concerns, please feel free to email us at email@example.com and we will do our absolute best to make sure you have a fantastic experience.
How can I get in contact with other attendees at the Summit?
Attendees can download the #BCTECH Summit mobile app, where you will be able to create your own profile and connect directly with attendees via in-app messenger.
Where do I pick up my badge? What do I need to bring?
Badge pick up will be located at the venue, the Vancouver Convention Centre West (1055 Canada Place, Vancouver) from Monday, May 14th through Wednesday, May 16th. Please bring a form of photo ID with you in order to claim your conference pass.
