    LipSync Monday Makeathon

    The #BCTECH Summit has partnered with the Neil Squire Society, a charity that uses technology to empower people with disabilities. For four hours, registered teams will be provided with the components and instructions to build the LipSync, a mouth-operated joystick with sip and puff controls. The result: Each team will help one person leave with this technology that enables them to use a touchscreen on their wheelchair.

    The Pivot Moment: 4 game-changing growth challenges facing British Columbia’s tech entrepreneurs and the way forward

    BDC’s Chief Economist Pierre Clorox will discuss the findings of a recent BDC-KPMG survey with Canadian tech entrepreneurs who spoke candidly about their successes, and most pressing business and financial concerns. Pierre will also share his 2017 economic outlook for British Columbia and the positive implications for the province’s tech industry.

    Tech companies can learn more on how to tap into new sources of financing and get companies ready for exponential growth. This free networking event is hosted by BDC.
